.... Hello everyone, I'm a newbie of the newsletter so don't kill me at once :D :D ... I was thinking of a set like this: Canon 350D + Battery Grip + EFS 17-85 + Speedlite 580EX Canon 650 + EF 50mm + Speedlite 420EX .... Any advice for me? ------------------------ Marco - take all the previous advice and yes, seriously consider whether you CAN do the job. If you believe you can do it then you will do it. Every wedding photographer started somewhere. Hopefully you have full control and ability to take the photos with total control of all your equipment. Look through magazines and get your friends to recommend some of the shots they like. Make a list of all their must-haves and take it - you'll forget in all the panic otherwise. Weddings are tough ! Things may go wrong and you need to have a backout plan - fast. It's very unusual that you're shooting both dig and film... What's your workflow after the wedding going to be ? Do a shoot with the couple a few weekends before hand at a similar time to their ceremony. Do some shots indoors with them with and without flash... Work out what problems your going to have outdoors with bright sun etc.. If you're creative and a good photographer then you're about 25% ready to do weddings. And make sure you're all going to have fun... Best of luck.
