Ok.. someone please set me straight. When you speak of the LUMISPHERE, are you referring to the Gary Fong LIGHTSPHERE???? I have never heard of a lumisphere, and I have never heard the *lightsphere* referred to as a lumisphere before now. I have used the lightspheres for a long time and have always been very satisfied with them. I currently use the LS2 with the frosted interior, and the inverted dome on at all times. I talked personally with Gary Fong about this at one of his seminars, and he recommends using the inverted dome installed in nearly all cases. It is purposely designed to give you the bounce and diffusion you need regardless of room conditions. Take note, this is the very newest dome. It actually extends down inside of the lightsphere itself, it does not form a dome on the top of the lightsphere housing.

I thought one of the claims was the difference in the amount of light required to do the same exposure. That is the Lumisphere was suppose to be more light efficient. I would be curious to know if that will be
in the results?

At the present this appears to be more marketing hype than anything
else.

Hi

It'll be interesting to see the final results. I think I'm the only one in our "gang" that's still using a StoFen diffuser, everyone else has switched to a Lumisphere. After the Lumisphere novelty wore off I started to hear some interesting comments from those that switched (maybe they've noticed that there isn't much of a difference).
