Chip, Rob, thanks for the inputs. For now, I ordered the 30d body only. I use iMatch to catalogue all my images and I will execute a query based on the exif data to see what focal lengths I used most often. Then I will decide. Maybe I will try to sell the 28-135IS and then everything else will make more sense :). The 17-40/f4 L doesn't seem a bad idea as well...
