Great link, thanks! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Cotty Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 1:29 PM To: EOS list Subject: EOS Fill Flash Suggestions
Just reading the thread about the 17-40 + flash currently running, got me thinking about fill-in flash, or fill flash as the yanks say. I have a 1DII and a 580EX and seldom if ever shoot using fill flash. If I shoot 'normal' flash then I shoot manual, 1/250th at f5.6 or f8 and let the flash do the rest, and it works great. I did some ad-hoc group shots (exterior day, cloudy) the other day and took the flash (in case of bright sunshine) but hadn't thought about it at all (I'm like that sometimes ;-) and ended up using just shooting ambient as I hated what the flash was doing in Av. I've since read this page: <http://photonotes.org/articles/eos-flash/index2.html> and realise I should maybe have used Program (which I never use at all)... -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
