The whole idea to buy expensive glass is to - well use that high quality expensive glass to get exceptional quality. Why then go out and degrade the final quality by introducing non quality/substandard glass anywhere in the light path, in addition to make the light pass through an additional layer not part of the lens ? (Unless - specifically needed to correct something of course ...)
Better yet, buy cheap lenses that can be replaced anytime and not worry about putting filters for protection :) IMHO - and YMMV - Harman __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
