I see this mess is still going on, so just ONE last post to my ONE answer
above.

The format of the post is the List Owner's wish, you don't have to join this
list if you don't want to follow the List Owner's rules.

I don't go into other people's house and tell them how they should do
things, and I suspect none of us here on this list are impolite enough to do
that either, so why is it that some of you insist on telling others how
things should work in this e-mail list when the list rule was quite politely
explained to you by the List Owner himself? For the record I was still on
dial-up until a few months ago, and I have been on this list for over 10
years, and I can tell you I do appreciate a short clean e-mail from this
list arriving in my Inbox, not necessarily for the speed it would take to
download, but it also has a side benefit that I can save some of the more
informative e-mails right in my Outlook folder knowing that I can save a lot
more of these short, concise e-mails than the ones with lots of excessive
and sometimes useless materials still not trimmed off.

This reminds me of a sign I saw years ago on someone's office door, and it
was before general indoor smoking ban became a norm, the sign said:

"I don't go piss in your beer, so please don't come in here and smoke"

When in Rome, please play by Roman's rules.

Cheers

Ken
