I've used my FD 135/2.5 SC (one of my favorites) a lot that way, and it's a wonderful look. By extension I'd expect the EF 135/2 to be fabulous.

Hope this is easier to read. The 135 F2 is an excellent lens with an extension tube. Bear in mind macros were really designed for flat fields with edge-to-edge sharpness. Regular lenses for 3D objects. So in effect the 135mm should make a 1st rate close up with extension tubes. Peter K ----- Original Message ---- From: Wayne S <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To:

There weren't many FD IF lenses, and that makes all the difference. I never used the 135/2.5, but I would bet it would be a lot better with extension tubes than the EF 135.
