I've used my FD 135/2.5 SC (one of my favorites) a lot that way, and
it's a wonderful look. By extension I'd expect the EF 135/2 to be
fabulous.

There weren't many FD IF lenses, and that makes all the difference. I
never used the 135/2.5, but I would bet it would be a lot better with
extension tubes than the EF 135.
