300x_CF.html

This CF card is advertised as 300X, but it appears to "require UDMA device"
to attain such speed.

Any idea how fast this card would be with a 1D Mk2? I currently have a 4GB
Sandisk Extreme III CF card bought a year ago with this camera, and it is
noticeably slower in write speed than the Lexar Professional 1 GB CF cards I
bought 3 years ago, I would estimate at maybe 30% slower.

This is generally not a problem as the buffer memory in the camera is large
enough to allow me to continue shooting in the large .jpg mode, but I have
to be careful in the RAW+L.jpg mode as I can easily overflow the buffer and
the camera will not allow me to shoot more images until the buffer is
partially cleared.

Thanks for any info.

Ken
