There was some discussion a while ago about the best way to comply with
the new center section inspection AD: cut holes, remove wing, borescope.

Hartmut and maybe others suggested removing the wings the first time,
thus allowing a thorough inspection and if you have to fix something
you'll need to remove the wings anyway.  At the same time cut the holes
for future compliance.  The borescope didn't seem likely as getting a
legal one was expensive.

However, as more and more people perform the work to comply, I keep
hearing that pulling the wings is a real chore.  So I'm wondering if I
want to do that at all.  Maybe just cut the holes only?

What do others think?
