Organizations (and to this I will be controversial and include clubs, organized religions, fraternal organizations, and governmental agencies) seem to have a useful life of around 75 years before they first putrify, then ossify, and finally petrify. By which time the good intentions of the founders have completed their journey down the proverbial primrose path and planted themselves in perdition. Greg
