----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Hi list.
With summer holidays here I am trying to make some
progress
on my firewall forward rebuild (forney
f1-c90).
I have removed the engine mount and separated the
nose gear
unit. Now I have to dismantle the nose gear strut
and not sure how to
proceed. The manual says just take out the two
recessed phillips screws
at the top of the strut and separate the head from
the strut. It doesn't
seem to be that simple with my strut. I am sure it
has been 30 years
since its been apart. Any hints would be much
appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
