Rather than trying to figure out
a glide ratio, has anybody out there calculated the number of maximum flying
minutes remaining at any given altitude once the engine quit?
For example, let's say the engine quit at 5000 feet and
you choose to descend at 70 mph. What about at 4500, 4000, 3500, 3000. How
about descending at 65mph or some other set of
variables?
