Yo, Kevin

Per Drawing 415-53011 (for sidescreen), ERCO used .065 Vinylite, 19-3/4"
(+-
1/32") x 31-3/16" with a 1/8" radius on all corners. Hole (#27)
centerlines
were 5/16" along the (short) edge. Presumably this material would have
been
used for the rear windows also.

The use of overly thick material for rear windows will cause the aluminum
skin to "pucker". The additional stiffness of thicker sidescreens reduces
the normal ease of operation, due both to the additional force required to
cause the change in shape of the panel as it moves up and down, and less
clearance in the channels than was originally designed. There is also the
consideration of the unnecessany and useless extra weight of using thicker
material.

Lexas is MUCH stronger than Vinylite or Plexiglas for a given thickness.

For anyone making a flat windscreen, Forney used .083" Plexiglas for their
bubble units.
