Hello all, after planning on flying to Knoxville and
having been registered since March, I have now
developed a no oil pressure situation in my 0-200 on
my A2-A. The engine ran for about 2 minutes at less
than 1500 Rpm before noticing no oil pressure reading.
Yes, it was a poor job of checking gauges but that is
water under the bridge. The problem is not in the
gauge. Does anyone have any ideas on the subject as to
whether I should just go ahead and bite the bullet and
have it majored or should I just replace the rear case
and probably the oil pump gears, and hope that
everything else is ok. It has 500 SMOH, in 1983. I can
give more detailed info if someone would like to visit
with me about it. I will be at the EOC Convention, by
car.
Thanks Scott
