I have owned a 415-C for one year. It has been a
great little virtually trouble free fun bird.
My only problem with it are the cowling buttons. It
is one h.... of a job to get them properly locked in. On many occasions I
have had to fly without all of them being firmly buckled. My mechanic has
replaced a couple and tweaked the others several times, but the
troubles keep coming back.
He asked me to ask the group if any one knows of a
good replacement or modification system to make the task of buttoning down the
cowling an easier one.
