As stated by others, Tim, you're going to be better off keeping the
single-fork. Consider:
 * Most "shimmy" problems can be solved by tightening the "scissors" bolts.
 * An Ercoupe is so light that most tires rot out because of the sun rather
than wear out in service.

Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Nose fork

Thanks a million to all of you who gave me advise on the trailer and rear
spar brackets. I now have a new question for you. My coupe has the single
nose fork. Finding and paying extra money for the tire seems to be painful.

Any idea how to switch to the double fork? Is it a C 150 fork and tire?

Thanks again,

Tim LeBaron from Texas
