My right hand (passenger side) stack has a nasty 3-way crack at the join for
cyl 2/4. It isn't going to pass inspection (decided to do my annual now
instead of June since I was tearing into the plane anyhow).

I suppose I could try to have it welded up, but I'm also considering a
replacement. Of course Univair charges over $500 for it (P/N: 40402-S). I
see Wag-Aero selling a RH Stack Assembly for $200 (SKU#: E-303-002).

Here's the million dollar question... will it fit? I see a prior posting in
here from September 2005 saying that the stack sold by Skyport seems to be
from Wag-Aero and that it didn't fit the O-200 installation (which is what I
have). I looked in my logs and it says that the existing C-75/85 exhaust
was used for the O-200 installation... this seems conflicting? Or is the
Wag-Aero for the older "A" series? (A-65/75) -- Univair only lists one
exhaust part... that seems to imply that they are all the same?

I'm in Nashville and am not against sending off for a newly built one (I'm
willing to send in the old one for "source" part), but it would have to be
an FAA repair facility that is authorized to build this "new" stack as my
head mechanic/IA is pretty picky.

Also, look at the picture... has anyone any idea why both of my stacks have
all these "beads" on them? My guess would be that it is some sort of
solder? Weird.
