Nope.
I'm trying to say that the parts that are installed in a new AC pump by AC meet AC's specs, and that AC knows what parts are in there. (AC, or whoever owns the rights to the pump this month.) Same thing for repair parts by AC or any other FAA/PMA manufacturer.
Bubba doesn't know anything about the parts that he is selling, and he really doesn't have to. His standard warrantee is "If it breaks, you get to keep all the parts. End of story." If AC's parts break, they are probably in for a law suit, so they make sure their parts meet spec. And yes, I'm willing to pay the higher price for that difference.
