OK, so let's assume the worst, the center beam is deemed unairworthy.
What are the options? I currently am thinking a $6000 beam from
Univair and $4000 to put it in the center section. How far off am I?

As of this morning I had heard from about 3 folks who have had the
ultrasonic inspection done. Each one found 3 or 4 rivets in the
center of the spar that required replacement and were replaced
without further to-do.
Until now...
I just got of the phone with a fellow who had 3 bad rivets under
the walkbox. When they were drilled out there was significant
corrosion between the parts. He's looking for a used center
section...
I'm not trying to be the harbinger of doom, but I figured you'd all
like to know. I have no feedback from anyone who did the
inspection and came up clean, whatever that means.
