Hello All,
My favorite beverage is much more enjoyable this evening due
in part to the fact that I just completed SB 32 and found no
bad rivets. The Tech was very meticulous and had not done
an inspection on Ercoupes before. I do have the belly skins
off so the rivets were easy to access. The ridge on the
bucked tail did cause problems and would give false readings
if not careful. After about 30 minutes of fooling with about
10
rivets I knocked the ridge off with a fine curved flat file and
things went much faster. 4.5 hrs. @ $85 per hour. I
highly
recommend that SB 32 be done if anyone has the belly skin
off. BTW, Applied Technical Services did the
work.
