My favorite was always a baseball cap so I
could wear my headset. Combined with enough airflow ventilation, I’d
never get too hot.
I did put on some sunscreen when I was
doing long, very high cross country flights.
The baseball cap gets out of your way when
you turn your head so you always have Ercoupe/Aircoupe visibility. Why would
you want to reduce your visibility toward that of a spam can?
Just my preference.
