I agree. However there are differences between Ercoupes (windows) and Alons (canopy).  One ventilation item that seems to be applicable to both are the 2 1/2" snap vents sold by Skyport and Spruce. Very inexpensive, easy to install and they work great.

Tom,

My favorite was always a baseball cap so I could wear my headset.  Combined with enough airflow ventilation, I’d never get too hot.

I did put on some sunscreen when I was doing long, very high cross country flights.

The baseball cap gets out of your way when you turn your head so you always have Ercoupe/Aircoupe visibility.  Why would you want to reduce your visibility toward that of a spam can?

Just my preference.
