Many thanks to the group for the several suggestions on how to replace the
snap rings in the MLG struts. I had attached my question to a request from Steve
Finkleman, but have not yet seen answers to his questions, though I think I answered
one of them myself. A reply to at least one of his other questions might be of interest
some time in the future: How DO you get out the piece that holds the upper and lower
legs together?
