I
can only offer my experience with one of your problems. The cup on the shock
should slide in easily enough, but if you have the retaining bolt too tight, it
will flare the cup out and it will not fit in the cylinder. Also, from what I’ve
read in this list, you should not be using both the cup and the o-ring
together. The o-ring is not compatible with the Dot3 brake fluid that you
should use with the cup. Correct me if I’m wrong, group.
I
do have a MLG problem of my own. After replacing the rubber donuts, I can’t get
that snap ring back in the groove in the outer tube. Any one have a suggestion
or two?
