In these cases, it says so on the pump. They add about 10% ethanol.Ethanol, I am guessing, can probably hold about 2% water in solution, but not more than that for over an hour or more when emulsified droplets have coalesced. So here I am thinking, if you are able to notice 2% of 10% = 2/1000 difference in your water level in a mayonnaise jar after shaking it up and letting it sit for an hour, you have quite an eye...Furthermore. The only danger I can think of with ethanol is if it freezes up while in flight above 30,000 feet maybe... or in the dead of winter. The fuel pump diaphragm is not affected by ethanol, why not use it in warm climates and altitudes below 10,000 feet?Alan , FaircloughN87333============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
