I am confused, if someone wants nothing to do with the EOC, why then would
they
be receiving email from that forum?

Is it in the community's best interests to exclude those who want no association with the EOC?Sorry, no spring available.Look at the Clevelands that are bolted to some of the older C150's that are found in salvage yards all across the land and on Ebay. You'll be amazed at how plentiful and cheap they are. I'd be ashamed to ask 60% of the recent new price for anything that is over a few years old. About 5 years ago I equipped my coupe with brand new Clevelands for about $700.00.----- Original Message -----From: James B. If we could pin down "someone more computer versed than I" (includes me, too) to figure out a data base where members could log on and type in lists of parts they have lying around that should do the trick; then other members could check the list for needs. If the EOC site does not have enough server space for this (it shouldn't take much), servers rent additional MB for nominal cost, so that should not be an issue - if it is, I expect participants might be willing to chip in the buck or few to pay for it. For my part, I've had possession of my Ercoupe for about 1 1/2 years and I already am accumulating spare parts that I may not need and would think of listing on such a data base. I also suggest it not be limited to free as I would be willing to pay a reasonable price for a set of Cleveland brakes for one example (Vernon Gregory told me when he has them he asks in the neighborhood of $600) - just now the cost of those things (new) + installation is out of my reach, especially considering other problems I have to solve first... I just need more pavement in front for the Goodyears to do what they do (they're not all that bad, just mediocre).
2nd (and last) request: anyone with a glove box spring available?
