Not a bad idea. In my home airfield's altitude [1161 ft. ASL] this isn't an issue, but a very good point! Anyone who desires to use my checklist ought carefully to consider Bowen's comment. He has a very good issue here.
And "lengthy?" Uh...why yes! These are the items I check before first-flight. I'm an aviator, which means, like the rest of you, I'm anal, analytical, ego-driven, and inclined not to suffer fools gladly. And these are my GOOD points.
I apologise for my defects of character, but they come with the territory. People who don't like those attributes are either non-pilots or fools. Either way, when it's YOU who has to bring your people back to earth safely, people who don't like the way you live your life are of no consequence whatever and zero concern entirely.
Bowen is like me, and he has a good point here.

Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Pre-flight checklist ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----I disagree with one item on your lengthy checklist, i.e., MIXTURE RICH after landing. I prefer to LEAN "agressively" while taxiing in order to reduce plug fouling.
