I obtained a field approval for installation of the split
elevator on a 415C without the "slow speed" spring.
I'll send a copy in *.pdf format to anyone who has a split
elevator to install in place of the plain one.

PS I did have to replace both the trim wire and the rear trim
wire housing since both were too short for the split elevator.
