You wouldn't sue, I wouldn't sue, probably my wife wouldn't sue if I screwed up, but what happens when the lawyers get to our kids and they see another payday? Hard to resist free money, especially bags of it. Remember it's a "your fault" society, nowadays. That's why it's absolutely worthless to have someone sign a waiver against damages if they come along for a ride and something happens. You can't rule from the grave.

I don't know what to say, AJ. You are probably right in all directions.
But the problem we are seeing here is that the society does not recognize
that flying in itself is a commitment to a risk. Even a perfect and new
aircraft can be crashed.
As can a car. If an idiot drives against a wall with high speed, he will
experience certainly problems.
But cars these days can be made to even withstand that abuse.
Airplanes on the other hand are limited in many ways.
I think the problem lies therein that the society compares airplane to cars
when it comes to accidents.
I wish they would do that also in general.

However. I do understand these list are available to the public and it is in
our own interest to be cautious in our statements.

Hartmut
