I'm also in agreement. I've seen too many parts and pieces put onto an airplane that had no business being there, and Ercoupe owners of old were among the worst. I also should state that I beleive if a part from anywhere else was certified for use in an airplane, there should be no reason to pay airplane prices for it. The steering rod boot was from a 39 Chevy IIRC and the original master cylinders (big honkin' piece) was from an International truck of 30's vintage. Same stuff, different rules. ----- Original Message ----- From: John Martin To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, January 26, 2007 8:08 AM Subject: Re: [COUPERS-TECH] C85 fuel pump ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Wayne, Good info for the newbies among us, me included.
