  I'm not sure this is possible.  If it were, it would have the effect of 
increasing the spring rate, which may not be desirable.  The reason I don't 
think it's possible is that the donuts are held in place with a snap ring and 
with 4 donuts they are under a slight amount of compression even when unloaded. 
 Adding an extra donut would require the stack be compressed over 1" before the 
snap ring could be installed. When landing, the stack would already be under 
that much compression before any weight was transferred, making the transition 
more harsh and transferring more load to the airframe faster.
