I suspect that skinning wings in aluminum today is for the majority of us, cost
prohibitive. Both of my Coupe's past & present, have Aluminum skinned wings.
Just a personal preference due to my love for polished aluminum. My past
Coupe's wings were hail-dimpled like a golf ball. I had 3 different shops look
to replace the skins and their quotes ranged from $9K to $10K. So unless you
really want it, or you can do-it-yourself, it's probably going to be too
expensive.

I am considering recovering my wings next year. I am curious as to
the
groups opinion regarding fabric vs. metal wings. What are the
advantages/disadvantages of each.

I am interested in hearing all opinions, even if they are only "gut"
feelings.

I checked the archives to see if there have been past discussions on
this topic, and could not find anything.

Thank you in advance for your input,
