Try this. Sounds like you need to adjust the Idle mixture, seems to be a bit lean. The idle mixture screw is the large screw at the back of the carb, it slants upward. Clockwise leans the idle mix, counterclockwise richens it. Turn the screw counterclockwise about a 1/4 turn and try to advance throttle (engine must be at operating temperature) if that doesn't fix it try another 1/4 turn. When it accelerates properly, readjust the idle screw on the throttle arm for correct idle speed (400-600 rpm) Good luck. Bill
