Dan, I guess I should have posted this the other day when I replied 
to the other guy. I had this rudder kit in my plane. When I got the 
plane the kit was installed. Like the other gentelman said he had 
heard that you could leave the pedal in by flipping it over. That is 
what I did, but I also reduced the size of it slightly. I reduced the 
with of it so when you worked the rudder my foot would not hit on it. 
Worked for me. He can do what ever he wants.
