Has anyone gotten approval for the solid state artificial horizon type
instruments as an emergency backup for their VFR Coupes yet?  I'm thinking
of something like the MLG Stratomaster Maxi-singles or Smart-singles or
other units.  While they're not cheap, they're not overly expensive, either
and they are very light weight.
