Bob, What engine do you have?? And was the electric fuel pump added to take
the place of the mechanical pump?? If you had an O-200 installed, most of
them did not have mechanical pumps, I am not aware of any coupes authorized
to fly with only an electric pump except the 30 gallon tanks which did not
use the center tank,. I would appreciate your input on this for my info

The O200 STC calls for an electric fuel pump to replace the mechanical one
which, as previously pointed out, is a rarity on an O200. A single pump is
allowed as it is a transfer pump, not the pump feeding the engine.

There are a few C75/C85 powered coupes out there with electrical pumps in
place of the mechanical one, on a field approval, using the O200 STC as
acceptable data.

The 30 gallon fuel system requires both the electrical and mechanical fuel
pumps as, in the absence of the header tank, the system is pressure feed and
if pumping stops the fan will stop almost immediately thereafter.
