Jerry, Thanks for your explanation of the change in insurance standards -- very interesting. Thanks also for your advice on gliders. In 2006, before finding my 'Coupe, I tried out my then-instructor's Lambada Motor Glider. It flew like a dream, but was a total bear to land, at least with my skill level then. Someday, when my 'Coupe is pre-empted by annual or whatever, I should try the motor glider again...
