If anyone is interested, there are a group of RV6's at Tea, South Dakota
that have modified their engines to operate on straight ethanol.

I was using both, preferred Avgas 80 when it was still available, but also
100LL and Mogas.
As long as Mogas is alcohol free it worked as good as the Avgas. Basically I
can not report a differnt behavior with any of these types.
They all performed the same with my engine. One has to have in mind that our
continentals are low compression engines compared to later fuel injected
aircraft or car engines. With that of a low compression, one can fly on almost
anything, as long as it ignites.

Subject: [ercoupe-tech] My Coupe
My Coupe will arrive today and with all the discussion on fuel I was
wondering how many folks use Mogas (alcohol free) rather than 100LL.
Any problems with 100LL aside from the plugs getting carboned up?
