Glen,

I checked my CHT's and EGT's today. Numbers were as follows:

OAT: 33 DEGF
2350 RPM
6500 FT MSL

Leaned by feel - "4 turns Rich of Rough"

Carb Air Temp: 5 DEGC

Oil Temp: about 150 DEGF

CHT1: 270 DEGF
CHT2: 260 DEGF
CHT3: 300 DEGF
CHT4: 290 DEGF

EGT1: 1425 DEGF
EGT2: 1435 DEGF
EGT3: 1475 DEGF
EGT4: 1450 DEGF

As you can see, my CHT's did not have as wide a spread as I thought they did.
I don't know how much these numbers might change in hot weather. The above
data is from one time during one flight. For what it's worth. All values are
as indicated. Gauges are low resolution analog gauges. May not be accurate.
