Interesting discussion. Can anyone develop (or find off-the-shelf) a smooth, bullet-shaped fairing made of Plexiglas, polycarbonate or similar material that could be attached over the landing gear light, thereby making it very aerodynamic? Bet there'd be a market for such an STCed product. Ed Ed Burkhead http://edburkhead.com/Ercoupe/index.htm East Peoria, Illinois ed -at- edburk???head.??com (remove the ? marks and change -at- to @)
