The original question from ebengiat1 was for the attitude indicator, not
for an autopilot.

I do agree that TruTrak attitude indicators are only meant for
experimental aircraft, however that's exactly what the field approval is
for. If your FSDO approves a field approval, you can install it.

I know at least one Ercoupe owner that has it installed. Perhaps that
person would like to share how he got it in.
