Lead does not lube the valves, contrary to the Old Wives Tale.  The 100LL is 
too high of an octane for the little guys and it causes deposits when you don't 
have a complete burn.

If you could get the old AMOCO car gas before it was bastardized, your engine 
would be very, very happy.   Never saw AMOCO here in Texas.
