Ralph; You're speaking of two different animals. Any crap that the owner did would need to be corrected before an annual signoff by "someone who has passed the test".
Maybe we should realize that many who have passed the test can neither read nor write but that doesn't speak of their mechanical aptitude. I wouldn't trust 50% of the folks that have passed the test to work on my riding mower, let alone a flying machine. When in Dallas, TX feel free to stop by and I'll show you what owner maintenance can look like when it's done well. While looking at Coupes a few years to buy one, I saw several that clearly had been owner "maintained". No thanks, I'll stick with an annual inspection by someone who has passed a test. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of James B.Brennan Sent: Tuesday, May 13, 2008 11:00 AM To: rl1360 Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [ercoupe-tech] Over Kill?
