[ercoupe-tech] mixture control

I recently purchased an ercoupe 415 c with a c75 powerplant. The 
mixture control has been wired shut and the control removed . Want to 
reinstall it but a mechanic told me that there was an AD on the 
stromberg carb that required that the control be removed and the carb 
wired shut in the full rich position. Would like to install a EGT and 
be able to lean the little bird out. Whats the skinney?
