Wallen:The neoprene tip needle is no longer recommended for any application. 
Partof the problem is it tends to swell in the presence of some common 
(today)fuel additives, especially in auto gas. Second, there are a lot of 
needlesin the field of questionable heritage and they are even more likely to 
causetrouble.Both your loss of power and your leakage could be caused by a 
swollen needletip. A "good" neoprene needle is the least likely to leak, so, 
given yourswas leaking, I'd get rid of it post haste.I personally prefer the 
Delrin needle over the steel one. While the Delrinneedle uses the same seat as 
the neoprene needle, I recommend a new seat atthe same time for the best 
results. The steel needle requires a differentseat, so you must replace both if
