I just put the above carb. back into service on my C 85. I rebuilt it
and the engine a couple of years ago . It seemed ok for about 5 hrs.
then on takeoff the engine quit for maybe 10 or 15 sec., as I was
looking to set it down it came back on , I flew the patern and landed. I
Looked it over and ran it up with no proplem found. I took it off and it
seemed ok. but after a few days when I put it in the hanger I noted
fuel running out of it. I have it apart and I found no problem. It has
the P/N 390077 needle. Aircraft Spruce has a note that it will expand
when used with 100LL. Anyone have comment and or advice?
