All,

AC43-13 is available as a download. I hope the following URL will lead you
there.

http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgAdvisoryCircular.nsf/0/99C827DB9BAAC81B86256B4500596C4E?OpenDocument

It is split up in 14 documents for better download. I suggest one looks into
the contents PDF first and downloads the section applicable.

But as Al suggested, a printed copy is less hassle and comes in much more handy
than the printed PDF. I have the clunker printed out on a double side printer -
still it is over one inch of paper.

AC43-13 should be available on line in PDF. I remember saving and printing
it up a little at a time. Or, you could actually spend less money and get one
through the government printing office or at any federal building bookstore.
About $35.00 IIRC. I'll even bet that Spruce and the like sell them. Even
though the FAA motto is on the inside cover "We're not happy until you're not
happy!" the book is a wonderful reference AND is the bible of what we should
do. Mechanic and non-mechanic alike should have a copy.

Keep it tucked next to your computer and when someone asks a question you can
amaze your friends with your knowledge. ;-)

Thanks, Al. I'll look in "my" copy of AC43 (as soon as I figure out
what it is). The older I get, the more I realize that there is so much
    to learn.

recommendations. You'll also see which fuse to use.
