I'm the guy with the rear spar that has damage. I'm wondering what it
actually takes to put one in. Does a guy need a new spar or a used
one. I talked to John Write who is a complete --S! He said it takes a
jig to put one in and he suggested to install a used one so the holes
line up. He then suggested me to bring it to him. I then got a few
emails from guys and I talked to the guys from Sky-port and they said
the holes wont line up. I told john on the phone this morning that
Sky-port and a few other guys said that the holes wont line up and he
said he wanted nothing to do with this project. He said all the guys
I'm getting my info from just sit on the computer and never turn a
wrench and he said I don't understand. I then told him I'm going to
bring it to him to have him install it and he hung up on me. I'm
wondering if it can be done and how. Me and my a&p IA will be doing
the work or do you know someone in the mid-west that is capable of
installing one or is John Wright the only one that can do this.

My Boss is a A&P IA that will be assisting me and signing it off. I'm
just asking because John W is suppose to be the big Ercoupe Guy that
has all the answers and if that's the case he must be right and it
must be difficult to install. I just want it to be "RIGHT".
Thanks,
Tom
