I have to disagree If a field approval is obtained allowing the installation 
of the O-200 the plane still conforms to the TC. If a field approval made an 
airplane non-compliant then no I.A. could ever sign off an annual on a plane 
that had any field approvals. :-)

I'd bet a dollar to a do-nut that I could obtain a field approval to install 
an O-200 in a C model based on Skyport's STC.
I have done so for an Alon where the owner installed the O-200.
