Tom.

It really depends on who is how to use the Ercoupe.

Tall people will have problems. I am 6.1 (186cm) and I could see myself fitting
in a rudder pedal coupe when flying alone.

Getting dual in a plane with pedals would be a challenge. But maybe you can
also alter the seats enough so you get enough room for taller folks to move
back. I found the regular backrest a bit too forward also.

Subject: [ercoupe-tech] Redder Pedals Rubber Pedals Rudder Pedals "What ever"

I think most people understood what I was asking. I'm not perfect!

Thanks to the guys that have them that commented. I've heard from several guys
that don't have them tell me not to install them. I don't see any disadvantages
of having them. It would be best if my students have them so they won't have to
take another check ride with the examiner if they decide to fly a 3 axis plane
in the future!
I have over 1000hrs in flying with rudder pedals and one of the biggest safety
technique is being able to do forward slips!

Has anyone here installed them? How was it?

Thanks,

Tom Mullally
